There are four standards about children’s vehicles. They are GB 14746-2006, GB 14747-2006, GB 14748-2006 and GB 14749-2006 which have brought into effect on January 1, 2007.
The changes between the new version and the prior one are:
Some requirements of mechanical and physical properties such as hazardous sharp edge, hazardous projection, hazardous sharp point in new editions are consistent with GB 6675-2003;
The technical requirements about flammability and the maximum migration of certain elements in materials of toys are adopting the requirements in GB 6675-2003;
The requirements about safety-labelling and Instructions for use should comply with GB 5296.5-2006.
