The National Standard GB 20286-2006 specifies the definition and classification, requirements and mark on the burning behavior of fire retarding products and subassemblies in public place.Chapter 5 and chapter 6 of this standard are mandatory, and the rest chapters are voluntary.
 
Fire retarding products and subassemblies (except for building products) in public places may be divided into two grades according to the burning behaviors:
——Fire retarding level one;
——Fire retarding level two.
 
This standard specifies the burning behavior of foams used in seats, sofas, mattresses and other upholstered furniture used in public places shall conform to the provisions prescribed in Table 1.

The burning behavior of beds, mattresses, connection boxes, sofas, teapoys, tables, chairs and other furniture/subassemblies used indoor in public places shall conform to the provisions prescribed in Table 2.
